• To operate the marketplace and match customers with artisans
• To process payments and manage escrow
• To verify artisan identities through Orange Botswana's KYC system
• To send notifications about job activity
• To improve platform security and prevent fraud

We share your data only as necessary:

• Between users: Customer and artisan names and profile information are visible to each other for job purposes.
• Orange Botswana: Phone and ID numbers are submitted for KYC verification only.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sensitive verification data is not stored in plain text.

5. Your Rights

• You can update your profile information at any time.
• You can delete your account via Account Settings (data is anonymised, not permanently erased from backups for 90 days).
• You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
