By creating an account or using Gig-BW ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Gig-BW is a marketplace connecting customers with skilled artisans in Botswana. We are not a party to any contract between customers and artisans, and we do not employ artisans.
All payments are processed through Orange Money escrow. Funds are held until the customer confirms job completion by scanning the artisan's QR code. The platform charges a 10% commission on each completed transaction.
Artisans can apply for the "Verified by Orange" badge. Verification is subject to KYC checks against the Orange Botswana database. Gig-BW does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party data.
If a dispute arises, either party may raise it through the platform. Gig-BW will review the evidence and make a final decision on fund release or refund within 5 business days.
Gig-BW reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Gig-BW is not liable for any damages arising from the actions of users, artisans, or customers. Our liability is limited to the amount held in escrow for the relevant transaction.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
